The keynote speaker was Stefano Carboni, Curator of Islamic Art, Metropolitan Musuem of Art, speaking on "Abgineh to Zujaj: A Brief Hisotry of Islamic Glass."

Boston Art, Glass & History Tour
Join
the MSC Forsyth Center Galleries for an Art, Glass & History Tour
of Boston, Cambridge, Sandwich & Plymouth, Massachusetts December 8-12, 2004
Galleries director Timothy Novak is leading an Art, Glass & History Tour to Boston and the surrounding areas. The group will stay at an historic bed and breakfast on Boston’s famous Back Bay. Highlights
of the trip include visiting the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the glass flowers the Museum of Natural History at Harvard. The tour also includes some free time for holiday shopping.
Cost is $1,000 per person, double-occupancy, and includes round-trip airfare to and from Houston, Texas, airport and baggage transfers, charter transportation to Sandwich and Plymouth, lodging, all breakfasts, opening and closing banquets, most admission fees, and Mr. Novak as your tour guide and coordinator.
